Welcome to Wajer Yachts – where luxury and craftsmanship meet
At Wajer Yachts, we don't just build boats; we create luxury experiences around the world. From Heeg to Miami, they turn admiring heads everywhere they go. That's no accident. At Wajer, the focus is on innovation, quality, and ultimate comfort. And it all starts with a team of passionate specialists like you.
This is your work
As part of the Wajer Summer Crew, you'll work from one of our hubs in Spain or the South of France. You'll be out on the water, cleaning the boats and preparing them for departure, welcoming guests, and making sure every detail is right – from chilled drinks to memorable routes along the coast. One day you're at sea, the next you're helping with other work or events such as the Cannes and Monaco boat shows.
What we offer
A monthly salary between €2,444 and €2,715, excluding holiday allowance and the payout of vacation days.
Housing in one of our Wajer crew accommodations (shared rooms).
Freshly prepared dinners on weekdays.
An international experience aboard the latest Wajer yachts.
Participation in the Wajer Summer Crew Academy, where you'll be trained in yachts, safety procedures, technical systems, and hospitality.
The chance to grow within the Wajer Care Talent Program after the season.
This is you
You have a passion for the water and a strong sense of responsibility. You know what it means to work aboard a luxury yacht, and you always strive for perfection.
You also have:
Preferably a completed MBO or HBO degree.
Klein Vaarbewijs I and II + experience on (fast) motorboats. If you do not hold these boating licenses before the closing date of this vacancy, we cannot consider your application. This applies even if your exams are already scheduled.
Technical insight – professional or hobby experience with engineering is a plus.
Availability for at least 8 consecutive weeks (preferably the full season: April–October).
A good command of English and Dutch (Spanish, French, or German is a plus).
A valid EU passport and driver's license (category B).
The application process
After a successful application process, we begin our (mandatory) Wajer Summer Crew Academy. Here we train you further with a Powerboat Level 2 (incl. Commercial Endorsement), and teach you everything about our yachts, the technology, conduct standards, and other practical matters. The Wajer Summer Crew Academy takes place on the dates below, and attendance at all parts is mandatory. Are you unavailable for one or more of these dates? Then, unfortunately, we cannot consider your application further.
