You apply online for one of our vacancies and fill out the application form as completely as possible. You will always receive a confirmation of your application, and we will get in touch with you as soon as possible.
Your CV and cover letter will be carefully reviewed by our Recruiter. If your experience and ambitions align with our vacancy, we will invite you for an initial exploratory meeting, which will usually take place at our shipyard in Heeg. If you are not local or have a busy schedule, we can arrange a meeting via MS Teams. In the introductory meeting, we will get to know you better. Personal contact is central at Wajer. We are interested in your interests, skills, experience, and ambitions. If you are not invited for an introductory meeting, unfortunately, we do not have any vacancies that match your profile at this time. In this case, we will promptly and personally inform you.
You will have a conversation with your future manager and sometimes a team member. During this meeting, we will get to know each other better. We will delve deeper into your CV and the skills required for the position to determine if you are the enthusiastic professional we are looking for and if the role aligns with what you are seeking. We will ask many questions but are also eager to hear about your motivation.
In most cases, there will be a second interview, and sometimes even a third, depending on the position you applied for.
If the interview goes well, you have a clear understanding of our organization, and we believe that we are a good match, we will be pleased to make you a suitable job offer. This will include details about your salary, our collective labor agreement (CAO), pension scheme, and company regulations.
If we ultimately decide to move forward together, we will prepare your employment contract. You can then sign it digitally.
