GTM Engineer

    • Amsterdam, Netherlands
  • Marketing

Job description

Welcome to Wajer Yachts; where luxury meets craftsmanship

Wajer Yachts is a Dutch family business that designs and builds luxury yachts from 38 to 77 feet. Our vessels combine unmatched performance with timeless design. From hubs in Saint-Tropez, Ibiza, Mallorca, Miami and The Hamptons, we ensure our clients want for nothing. Our motto: Without a worry.

We've grown significantly over recent years, with over 400 colleagues across six countries. CRM, data and AI are becoming the engine behind our commercial growth. That's why we're looking for a GTM Engineer to further develop HubSpot into the backbone of our international marketing and sales organisation, bridging data science, AI and automation.

This will be your work

HubSpot has recently been implemented, but there's still significant work to make the system do what it's designed for. You'll take ownership of our commercial data: ensuring the basic structure, flows and lead scoring are in order, and that sales and marketing teams across multiple countries experience CRM as something that helps them work smarter and faster. Not by imposing rules, but by creating value: better visibility into opportunities, automatic enrichment of customer profiles and reports that support the right decisions.

Your first months will focus on building this foundation and improving sales adoption. You'll work with performance marketing to ensure campaigns and CRM align optimally, so leads are better followed up and conversion increases.

Once this foundation is established (expected 6-9 months), you'll expand your work. You'll develop dashboards, analyse campaign ROI and identify gaps in the funnel. We structurally reserve time for a data lab where you can test new tools, AI models and decision agents in a safe sandbox environment. AI will play an increasingly important role: you'll test AI models, build automations with n8n and use modern standards like MCP to connect data more intelligently and accelerate processes. You'll regularly be a sparring partner for management, including the CEO, on how we can deploy data and AI to improve commercial processes internationally.

You'll take ownership of our international commercial data infrastructure and develop HubSpot into the brain behind marketing, sales and future AI applications.

What you'll do

Strategic & Advisory

  • Develop CRM as an integral part of marketing & sales

  • Contribute to data strategy and unlock data from platforms like BigQuery for better commercial insights

  • Translate segmentation, data logic and automation into concrete customer approaches

  • Advise on process optimisation, tooling and data quality

  • Identify opportunities to expand or improve HubSpot functionality

  • Contribute to data strategy and AI applications like predictive lead scoring and automated decision flows

  • Experiment with new data and AI applications such as predictive lead scoring, decision agents and automation of commercial processes

  • Partner with management and CEO on opportunities with data and AI within commercial processes

Operational & Hands-on

  • Work in HubSpot: segment, build, test, optimise

  • Set up lifecycle campaigns: from onboarding to aftersales and loyalty

  • Create reports and build dashboards that provide insights into conversion, ROI and funnel performance

  • Build smart workflows with HubSpot and tools like n8n

  • Experiment with AI models and MCP integrations to dynamically connect commercial data to workflows

  • Execute A/B tests and implement improvements based on results

Collaborate & Align

  • Support colleagues with smart flows, lead scoring and lead nurturing (training, explanation, guidance)

  • Work with sales to ensure CRM optimally aligns with their processes like sea trials and customer follow-up

  • Help performance marketing and acquisition teams with segmentations, lead prioritisation and follow-up flows

  • Support international teams with adoption and optimal use of commercial data and tooling

  • Actively share insights and results with team and management to improve collaboration

Job requirements

What you bring

  • You're curious, have a can-do mentality and enjoy experimenting with new technology, knowing that tools change rapidly and innovation is essential

  • Minimum 2 years demonstrable hands-on experience with HubSpot CRM, Marketing Hub and automation (required – without this experience you won't be considered)

  • 3-5 years experience in CRM, marketing automation or data-driven marketing

  • You're a builder who sets up and optimises systems, with a feel for commercial processes

  • Experience with lifecycle marketing, lead scoring and customer journey mapping

  • Curious, analytical and up-to-date with latest developments in AI and automation tools

  • Independent, adaptable and takes ownership

  • English is required, Dutch is a plus

  • Experience in luxury goods, automotive or maritime is a plus

  • Ambition to grow towards data, AI and advanced analytics

What you can expect

You'll get a role with plenty of room to shape your own approach, where you'll build and develop our commercial data structure and automation. Initially, the focus will be on a solid CRM foundation and creating value for sales. Later, you'll get the chance to establish a broader data strategy with AI and predictive models. You'll work closely with management and see your work directly reflected in commercial results worldwide.

We offer a full-time annual contract with competitive salary and attractive employment conditions, including 27 vacation days and 6.5 ADV days. In addition to a personal development budget, we reserve lab hours and have a sandbox to experiment with new tools, AI models and automation solutions. You also have the opportunity to attend a conference annually such as HubSpot INBOUND or the Marketing Analytics Summit. You'll work at our commercial hub in Amsterdam, with views of our clients' yachts and dedicated parking at the door.

Examples from practice

Drip campaign for a sea trial A prospect signs up for a sea trial. You ensure an automated communication flow starts: a confirmation with preparatory materials, a reminder with route information and a follow-up that responds to the sailing area this customer is interested in. You build the campaign in HubSpot, test variants and optimise for engagement and conversion.

Smart automation with AI A lead comes in via our website. You want HubSpot to automatically enrich information, AI models to pass scoring signals and sales to immediately see which leads have priority. You develop and optimise this approach, with support from n8n and modern integration standards like MCP.
